Invulnerable: incapable of being wounded, hurt, or damaged. This is the state we can achieve emotionally when we stop caring about what others think about us. But how do we achieve this state of invulnerability? Is invulnerability even possible? How does not caring about what others think about us make us invulnerable? This two-part podcast will explain how we became vulnerable, why we care about what others think, and the steps needed to become invulnerable. This is the podcast you’ve been waiting for! Get ready to become invulnerable!
Questions associated with Step 2:
1.) Who is this person?
2.) What makes what they say more important than what I say (you can substitute “say” for “feel” or “think”?
3.) What makes them inherently better than me on a human level? (They have to do everything the same way you do)
4.) Why do I care so much about what others think about me?
5.) What power do others thoughts over me and my life?
6.) What would happen if I stopped caring about others’ opinions?
7.) If these people abandon me and reject me, what’s the worse situation I would be in?
- Would I be able to survive without them?
- Has anyone else ever experienced this? Have they come back from it?
- Can I come back from it? What can I do to come back from it?
8.) What scares me about others that keeps me from speaking my mind?
