Hi and welcome back to another Elevator Talk Podcast! Today I am going to be talking about how to stop living for other people.
This is what happens when we live for other people and not for ourselves:
1. They Don’t Actually Know Who You Are.
2. We Start To Put Ourselves In A Box.
3. We Stop Creating Our Own Goals & Dreams.
4. We Stop Living For Ourselves.
Quote: “I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.” — Bruce Lee
Questions to ask yourself:
How much of your life do you give away to other people without even realizing it?
How many more of our dreams do we need to push aside before we realize it’s too late to live up to them anymore?
How much more time do we need to give up before we realize that we can’t take that time back and it won’t be returned to us either?
How much more of ourselves do we need to give up to others?
