It's the Mother's Day show!!! On today's podcast, we're talking about a topic that hasn't been approached on this show before, and that's how your love life is affected by the way you treated your mother growing up! As the first woman ever to appear in your life, the way in which you were taught to interact with her growing up helped to mold your viewpoint about women in general: how they deserve to be handled, talked to, etc. For those of you who find you are unable to hang on to women for a long time, or are constantly being told that you don't treat women the right way, many of these issues could be the result of you having YEARS of practice treating the first women in your life (i.e. your Mom, Grandma, aunts, female cousins) in negative ways. If you got away with things as a kid like talking back to your Mom, throwing tantrums, or going even more extreme by hitting her or calling her ugly names, these actions, practiced over many years and ingrained into your behavior, could be things you're bringing into your relationships that are causing you to FAIL. And so, we talk about all that, as well as what you can start doing TODAY to rectify the situation, remove those negative behaviors, and begin getting into the practice of treating women in ways that will have them wanting to stick around for the long haul – and it all starts with re-programming the way you interact with your Mom!
