Stop Pretending: use your story, be authentic,mindset on truth,chosen for purpose, intentional living

 We can give in to the temptation to quit and keep it easy or we can expand our tents and listen to the invitation to living.  We can move toward being our best selves and really come to know who God intended us to be to find deep contentment, satisfaction, and confidence.  We don't have to shift with instagram trends and popularity. We can let God cover our story with love and show us the way.  

Jessica unexpectedly faced divorce while being 6 months pregnant.  She literally moved across the country, but listen in to hear how beauty and grace guide her steps and provide for her every step of the way. 

It is a bit hard for me to loosen up and start talking...since I talk on here all the time that may be surprising!  When I talk to my mom it usually all spills. She has ways of making people talk! It felt really special though to come to the table together and remember the small details together.  I confess about the time I stole something...no surprise it was a journal!  Yall! Of all the things to steal...well paper still has my heart. It gets real when I just start crying because parenting is plain hard.  I bet you get it!  

How do we learn to figure out what WE want?  How do we make decisions based on what we know and see instead of what we are supposed to do?  There is this space of fear that is loud and obnoxious but there is also a voice of drive and determination and belief in the impossible and belief in the good.  Today I share how backpacking for 23 miles revealed some hidden truths about living an intentional life.  I invite you on the journey!

Dionne White bravely shares her story of finding true love and life in God. She talks about experiences of broken relationships and abortion and how those lead to anxiety, depression, and not wanting to live.  Life didn't end there, the conversation wasn't over. Jesus transformed her life in moments of meeting her throughout her journey replacing every dark thing with light.  This message is for all of us. It is an invitation to stepping into freedom from every oppression and claiming your God given identity. Put on your crown today. You have the authority. Love wins.   

God doesn't want us to be someone else. He whispers and invites us to a place where He can speak life into the parts of us that were stolen..lost. He wants to bring revival to your heart by uncovering the lies and reminding you of who you are.  In this place of good soil, a place of knowing the truth, you can thrive. You can step into your calling. We are dissecting Matthew 13 today to study the types of soil and discover how we can strip off layers of untruth in our life to receive truth. You got this sister! 

Beuchner writes a book describing the gospel as a tragedy, a comedy, and a fairy tale.  What does that mean?  Jesus came to embrace our pain, hold it, and walk with us. Let's talk about that together.

This week breaks through the darkness with the good news that we are all born for freedom, created by the divine and for the divine.  Marcie and I continue our conversation about race and women and the intention for creation.  Everytime I listened to it I grew and softened and learned. I'm so thankful for Marcie's wisdom and generosity. 

Marcie calls herself "just a writer" but we honor her for doing so much more for the world.  She pours herself out with love.  Today she shares what inspired her to use her passion for writing to serve a greater need.  She encourages us to look for the helpers, learn the hard truths, but celebrate the joys and successes.  It's so important to stand against racism and tell the narrative of freedom, strength, dignity, and beauty.
