Sunday, February 22, 2026 – Pastor Justin is bringing a message titled “Stop Riding the Fence.” This is a very practical and challenging message for every believer today. Every person is susceptible to wandering and drifting if they aren’t mindful of how easily one can drop their spiritual guard and drift from what it means to live a holy life. From a practical perspective, nature will cause physical fences to weaken and even break down in places, allowing the animals protected by that fence to wander off and get into all kinds of dangerous situations. Likewise, the spiritual fences that guard our hearts can also weaken and break down in places we may not expect, and we, like a horse or a cow, can find ourselves in dangerous places because we didn’t mend the fences on a regular basis. Today’s message gives us good warnings and encourages us to stop riding the fence with one foot in the world and one foot in the church, and instead to mend the fence and plant both feet firmly in the church, seeking a holy and righteous life with Christ. If we understood that the fences God places around us are meant to protect us from a world bent on destroying us, we would live much better, more fulfilled lives. Worship and study with us.
