The song children learn to sing early goes: “Arise and shine and give God the glory-glory… children of the Lord.”

As children of the Lord we are children of light, men and women “awakened” by the Life of Christ out of darkness. This reality drives, defines and determines the purpose of our way in the world and our engagement with darkness.

The church is giving away this glorious calling by compromising  its distinction, and allowing the truths of the gospel that alone bring social transformation to be prostituted and stolen by deceptive tactics of Satan.

Much like the first Adam gave away Eden for a lie, the church is giving away truth for so called social and political relevance. 

But the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, has come and reclaimed what Satan has, in deception, stolen. 

In this episode we are calling the church, in the language of the Apostle Paul, to AWAKEN  from its slumber of indifference and compromise; to refuse to allow social constructs to dictate and distract us from ur Biblical and theological purpose: to be lights of the world. 

We are to live and think as AWAKENED men and women in the gospel, bringing about an AWAKENING of sinners so that they see all of life through the light of the glorious gospel of Christ
