"Amerisleep polled 1,188 workers, 90% of which have stayed late at work by at least 15 minutes, and 75% say they’ve had a job that’s asked too much of them." (Ladders, Amerisleep)

"Can you stay late?" or "I'll just do one more thing." can cause us to stay way later at work than we wanted or expected.

And staying late past your work schedule may not be as beneficial as you think.
