If probiotics helped IBS, most people with IBS would not still have IBS.

The thinking behind a probiotic is that your gut is empty and needs something added. Your gut is not empty. It is full of things that were there before the probiotic arrived, and some of those things are exactly what is causing the problem.

In this episode, I'm going to show you what advanced testing actually finds in the gut of someone with chronic diarrhea and urgency, why adding a probiotic into that environment first makes things worse for most women, and the one specific type that behaves differently from everything else on the market.

❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Why would a probiotic make IBS symptoms worse?
A probiotic adds bacteria into an environment that may already contain yeast overgrowth, parasites, or harmful bacteria protected by biofilms. Adding more bacteria on top without addressing what is already there can feed the problem instead of resolve it.

What does advanced stool testing find that a standard test misses?
Advanced functional stool testing maps the full gut environment: bacterial balance, yeast and mold overgrowth, parasites, inflammatory markers, and immune function. That picture shows whether it is safe to add anything into the gut or whether something needs to be cleared first.

What is a spore-based probiotic and how is it different?
Spore-based probiotics like Mega Spore Biotic survive stomach acid intact and activate in the large intestine where most gut dysfunction happens. Most standard probiotics do not survive the trip.
