High-intensity careers like media sometimes come with extra baggage: a title, an audience, a stereotype, prestige. It is easy to link your personality inextricably to that career because it can make you feel like "someone". It feels good, and frankly, feeds your ego.
But what happens when you leave that job? Who are you as a person anymore?
CBS's Debra Alfarone joins the Stop Talking crew to discuss her journey through her identity and how she healed herself from the inside out and became the singular, unique person that she is today. She wants you to know that you are so much more than your job title.
