In this episode of Stop To Think, we pick up where we left off the last time back in 2021. I recount how the PE went and what other things I've been working on since then. We also discuss what the plan is going forward. That plan is to do a once-a-week podcast that will probably come out on Friday mornings.

We talk about full dive Virtual Reality technology and how that would potentially change the whole landscape of human life and endeavors. Lastly, we talk about the holy grail of VR which is uploading your consciousness to the virtual world.

At the very end of this episode, I also mention that it will be the last one for the foreseeable future. I have to study for the PE exam so we're bringing the first season of Stop To Think to a close.

In this episode of Stop To Think we talk about Asteroid mining. Technically we start out by talking about moon mining but eventually we get into a discussion about how asteroid mining would have to work and how it could be a pretty big game-changer for human civilization. 

In this episode of Stop To Think we talk about the future conquest of the Solar System. My bet is Moon > Mars > Mars Moons > Asteroid Belt > Jupiter's Moons > Saturn's Moons > Neptune's Moons > Uranus's Moons. In this episode, we talk about why human space conquest will likely take this path. It's a trade-off between travel energy cost and how habitable a given location is. 

In this episode of Stop To Think we talk about weapons of planetary devastation. The majority of the weapons a space ship might use on another space ship will work on a planetary body that doesn't have an atmosphere but as soon as your target has air to hide behind it becomes much more difficult to attack them. The weapons we talk about in this episode are basically useless on other ships but devastating when attacking a ground target on a planet. 

In this episode of Stop To Think we get back to talking about cool stuff. Specifically, we talk about ship-to-ship space weapons that could someday be used in space combat. We go over the various features and limitations of the most obvious ones. We also talk about how shooting each other in space is a really bad and costly proposition. 

In this episode of Stop To Think we finally talk about morals a bit. I detail why I think it's best to stick to the traditional way of handling intimate relationships. We talk about the nature of sin a bit and how doing stuff that's "wrong" might cause more damage than one would expect. 

In this episode of Stop To Think we wrap up the topic we've been working on for the last few weeks by exploring the future of sex work and human reproduction. We talk about how robots might replace humans in providing intimacy services and how this would render human-to-human relationships to being for companionship only. We also talk about how human incubation technology could completely change the way the world works. 

In this episode of Stop To Think we talk about how the availability of physical gratification has resulted in marriage not really offering as much as it used to. In other words, there's no longer a major incentive for younger couples to get married. Those who do still want the stuff that marriage can provide have a much more difficult time finding others who see things their way.
