In this episode of the Stop To Think podcast, we talk about high school mission trips. Or at least that's what I was supposed to talk about but then I went on a massive tangent that had nothing to do with the topic until the last ten minutes of the episode. However, on the topic, my thoughts are that some mission trips seem more trip than mission, and using church funds to fund that sort of stuff probably isn't a great idea but there are also worse things that could be happening as well. So if you're a high schooler and you're going to be going on a mission trip, make sure you're not just there to have fun.

It's an interesting read overall and it has several good points in it, but I found a reoccurring theme of zero female accountability throughout the book. There was also a fixation on violence which was kind of surprising.

The answer seems to be dependent on the amount of support that the children receive from their parents. If children are fully financially dependent on their parents, then their parents should fully control them.
