i was reflecting on the idea of how there's a real fine line between hoping for the best possible outcomes for our lives' and others' but how if and when we find it challenging to surrender or trust in God's timing/plans, we're essentially trying to be God in the lives' of others and ourselves.

it's human nature to want to hold space and be in support of others' but it's also important to be able to healthily discern if and when we have reached our human limitation and it's time to surrender a situation over to God to do a work that only he has the ability to do and when it comes to this for ourselves, we have to learn how to better fully trust God, not micromanage or cling on too tightly to how we believe things should turn out, honor what we have the capacity to do and release the rest to God.

reflection: how can you better surrender your will and align your heart with God's, so that you don't feel burdened by trying to figure it all out for yourself and also teach people how to do the same for themselves?

don't forget to give yourself grace.
