We've come to a very somber story at the end of Luke 23--Jesus' death and burial. Here in verses 44-56, we see that judgment and access to God connect at the cross.

We take one more episode to explore the Crucifixion from Luke 23:26-43, and we realize that we benefit from Jesus' death.

In Luke 23:13-25, we find Jesus' sentencing, when Pilate hands Jesus over to be crucified. As we look at Pilate's role in this, we see that inaction does not make us innocent.

Jesus' trial in Luke 22:66-23:12 reveals to us that he is the honored, undefeatable, everlasting King.
