As someone who loves to use logic to solve problems and loves to always be learning, moving in web development was a natural progression in my career path. In my time away from writing code I am grateful for the skills and experience I gained in different industries and job types. Although not directly related to my ability to write code they have helped me be more effective working with people on an individual basis, being part of a team, and communicating abstract ideas to people in many different roles.

Now that I have started NSS I have found that software development is something that I enjoy very much and I know it will be an extremely rewarding career. There are many aspects of software development that I have come to love but, I especially enjoy the problem solving that is involved with it and the surprising social side of it. Working in groups and communicating well has been extremely enjoyable and I can't wait to start doing it full time!

The idea of coding initially peaked my interest when I studied Java in college. After college, I took a break to travel and during that time I realized the importance of how coding can be immensely unifying between people and felt inspired to continue to learn about it. As an avid learner, I code because of the constant fluctuation in information to understand. As a creative problem solver, I code to find and resolve issues that make a larger system run more efficiently.

I have always had two great passions in life: Music and Technology. From when I received my first computer at 15 years old, I have always loved technology and how everchanging it is. When I had the opportunity to take a computer science class in high school, I jumped at the opportunity, and fell in love with coding. Just like with music, what you can make is only limited by your creativity. I can't think of anything else I would rather do.

I strive to be a lifelong learner, in order to be the best that I can be in all aspects of my career. Everything I have experienced thus far was preparing me for software development, from learning several point of sale software programs, to face to face interaction with clients. My diverse background allows me to have a
