It wasn't until I first started at Nashville Software School where that enjoyment became genuine interest and passion. I have learned to code so many amazing websites, improved my already strong skills as a leader, but also increased my skill level as a follower.

My professional background is primarily in video production and live tv entertainment. My first experiences with programming languages were seeing C++ and coding in HTML when I was 15. The site my friend Luke and I created was featured in USA Today. I created nashvillePA.com in 2007 to get my friends and production assistants in Nashville their next gig. In 2010 I was commissioned to build holyvintage.com, a retail site managing an inventory of vintage t-shirts with only my knowledge of HTML.

As a natural problem solver with a keen eye for details - making the jump to software development wasn't as different from zoo keeping as you might think. Every day brings on new challenges and the idea of a lifetime of learning brings out an excitement in me that I look forward to continue exploring.

Because of my desire to learn, after recently graduating with a Computer Technology degree along with gaining experience in software development from teaching myself, I decided to jump start my career by applying to Nashville Software School where I enjoy learning from my classmates as well as help them learn by answering any questions they have that I know the answer to. I am looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer position to help feed my love of learning and help myself and others succeed and push through any barrier put in my way.
