When Allison got pregnant with her first child she canceled her yoga studio membership. In this episode she is frank about her experience of pregnancy, postpartum anxiety and her journey back to yoga. Her story is special but probably not unique. Motherhood is demanding and can take us away from our mat but it can also bring us back. Lee thought yoga was a “girl thing.” When a friend suggested he try it, he was suffering from serious back pain, using epidurals to deal with the pain,  and was willing to give it a shot. Since then he has found that yoga has not only helped his back, but also stopped his chronic migraines and helped him feel better at the age of 71 than he has in 20 years.
