About Tim: 

"For five years in my twenties, I was living a lie. From the outside looking in, I had it all. A wonderful wife, a millionaires family (a son and a daughter), and a six-figure income. There was just one problem-

I was miserable. So I did the logical thing (to me): quit and moved to a tiny fishing village in Nova Scotia, Canada.

When I started an educational software company the naysayers came out of the woodwork, telling me that I was a complete idiot doomed to failure. They stopped saying that when my sales topped $10 million. The thing is, it was never about the money. It was about living the life I wanted.

During this journey, I learned that the most valuable gift you can give someone is your belief in their ability. That's why, at age 60, I created the Screw the Naysayers Podcast. Each week I interview leading experts in innovation, education, entrepreneurship. My goal is to inspire listeners to expect more from life and provide practical advice that can be used to break free from a system that has been set up to encourage them to settle."
