Lorraine put her life on hold when her daughter, Amanda, was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 9. Her husband, Marty, was her rock while she became a full-time hospital Mom.
After 3 years of hospital stays and treatment, Amanda's Leukemia was in remission. Thinking the worst was behind them, Amanda developed a brain tumor.
Lorraine would also lose her primary support, her rock, Marty.
Through her non-profit, Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, Lorraine has given away 10,000 "Comfy Cozy" care packs and offers no-cost counseling, groceries and support services for families battling cancer, blood disorders, and other life-threatening illness.
This is Lorraine Tallman’s Story of Hope.
