In today’s episode, we explore Samuel and Nathan: Prophets of the Kingdom. Two men called by God during Israel’s early monarchy, both prophets, both courageous, and both committed to truth above all else.
Samuel was the last judge of Israel and the first prophet to anoint kings. He bridged the era between the judges (Theocracy) and the monarchy, preparing Israel for a new form of leadership under God’s guidance.
Nathan came after Samuel, serving during the reign of King David a man after God’s own heart, yet one who fell deeply into sin. Nathan was the prophet who dared to confront David with truth and restore him to repentance.
