Stories of Our Prophets: Guidance for Growing Hearts

This episode explores the story of Prophet Idris (ʾIdrīs), an ancient prophet mentioned in the Quran who is traditionally identified with the biblical Enoch. Muslims believe he was the second prophet after Adam and is placed in the early generations between Adam and Noah. Described in the Quran as trustworthy, patient, and exalted to a high station, Idris is also associated with wisdom, the use of the pen, and early scientific knowledge in Islamic tradition.

In this episode, we explore the incredible story of Prophet Adam (AS), the very first human and prophet in Islam. You’ll learn about:

• How Allah created Adam (AS) from clay and honored him

• The special knowledge Allah gave him and the respect shown by the angels

• The test in Paradise and the trick of Shaytan

• Adam’s (AS) sincere repentance and Allah’s mercy

• His role as the father of humanity and the first to receive guidance

This story helps us understand where we come from, why we make mistakes, and how Allah’s mercy is always near. Let’s learn from Prophet Adam’s journey and discover how we, too, can always turn back to Allah and try again.
