  • The Story of Rell, the Iron Maiden

This week I watched a lot of 80’s hair band live shows to prepare for this champ. It is Rell, the Iron Maiden! Rell’s trailer video was sick and I decided that I wanted to read her lore.  There are a lot of deep themes in Rell’s story that would be fascinating to process. I am also becoming more and more intrigued by this Pale Lady character. The short story this week was written by Jared Rosen.

  • The Story of Swain, Grand General of Noxus

Hullo friends!  This week I got a little more excited about the story of Swain because there is so many rabbit holes we could run down about philosophy and state craft when it comes to this guy... BUT that will have to wait because we are here for the stories.  Thanks for joining me in this fun little shindig and enjoy the Story of Swain!

  • The Story of Amumu, the Sad Mummy

This one got... a bit darker and more existential than I anticipated!  I love it!  Amumu lands in a bot of the same storytelling style as Rammus.  Riot has painted him as a legend, or folktale.  Some kind of Myth within Runeterra.  I eat that stuff up! HOPEFULLY YOU DO TOO!

I was a bit under the weather for this one but it still seemed to come out ok.  Thanks for listening!

CAW SQUEEE! I am overextended in lane... there is the call of a bird.  I start to sweat, suddenly I AM BLIND and grey screen... Yes this week it is Quinn, Demacia's Wings!  This one is another fan request from a Quinn main.  God bless you... too much speed for this guy.  Hope all is going well with all of you!

  • The Story of Samira, The Desert Rose

Hello! Sorry for the late release!  This week I decided that we should grab one of the newer champs! So we have jumped into the Noxian mercenary, Samira.  And before you message me... yes... yes I know my impression of her is ghastly.  We can't do everything perfectly, even if this is the internet!  I like the vibe of Samira and frankly there are a great deal of awesome conversations to be had about Noxian politics and policy.  But that will be for another podcast someday... Hope you enjoy this one!

  • The Story of Fiddlesticks, The Ancient Fear
All Hallows Eve, Halloween, the Solstice, All Saints Eve, Dia De los Muertos... tis the season for the mysterious, the deceased, the spooky, what better champion than... Fiddlesticks.  Had some fun with this one as usual!  Got some of my spooky times in this one.  Pulled from my experience with Old Time Radio shows like Suspense, Inner Sanctum, the Whistler and more.  Hope you enjoy it!

  • The Story of Braum, Heart of the Freljord
Another listener request this week, thanks for reaching out @wstephenson86!  Braum, is my main, and how I got all the way up to... bronze 1.  Oof.   A part of the story of Braum that is quite endearing to me is the selflessness of his demeanor and his hope to befriend enemies.  That is a rare desire, to actually reconcile with and befriend an enemy.  It is for that which I admire the heart of the Freljord, and maybe to live it out somehow in real life.

  • The Story of Rakan, the Charmer and Xayah, the Rebel

This week's choice was elected by my wife! These two champs we both relate to and both really enjoy playing.   There is love, laughter, angst, and... hope.  We are not like them, miella.  Thanks for joining me this week!

  • The Story of Nunu and Willump, the Boy and his Yeti
Another listener choice this week! Its the bestest story ever, Nunu and Willump!  This tale is one of the most endearing thus far with one of the most relevant themes that a lot of us need right now, hope and the joy of a child's imagination.  I hope that it makes your day a little better.  I sure did make mine.
