Needs editing...big time, not a bad plot
While the book needed severe editing, I'll admit was a pretty good story. I had difficulty wading through all the mistakes. It started off being told in the present tense, switched back and forth between past and present. Question marks were used where exclamation marks should have been. Basically, the thing needed to be edited severely. If someone were going back to 1882, I don't think the young lady would have referred to them as 'you guys'.
But for a very quick, fun read and if you aren't into grammatically correct, it was a good read. But c'mon, they go through a storm and the guy ends up being Sheriff? I think this author needs to stick with writing children's books.

A Trip Into The Twilight Zone
DG has written a western novel with a twist. A sailing trip in 2015 , which ends in a storm, end with two men transported to 1880's. Then the real adventure begins. This is an excellent read for the genre.....ER
I recommend this book to anyone who reads!
Dennis has a hit! This is a great book! I found it to be spellbinding. I couldn't wait to turn the page to find out what was going to happen next!
Wow - this was bad.
Wow - this was bad. I gave up after the first few chapters due to the poor writing style and stilted dialogue between characters. Several egregious story inconsistencies in the first few chapters. Sailboat? Power boat? Next to shore, then an hour out in the next moment? Yikes. I gave up.
