Before there was Queen Esther, there was Queen Vashti.  Both women were elegant and beautiful,  and both were chosen by the King! But there was one difference: A difference that would determine not only the fate of the women, But the fate of their nation.

Esther 1:1-12

This is the first in a new series on the book of Esther.  Esther was used by God to save a nation. Today this book is a blueprint for us to save a nation, and America needs saving! 
Before Esther there was Vashti.
Vashti was beautiful and surrounded by opulence. Yet for some reason she answered the King in a way that ended her royal career.

It promises to be a tumultuous time in America as the party lines are drawn and a deep chasm lies between two opposing factions. Is it really a war between good and evil? Which way will America go? Nineveh was known to be a brutal and blood-thirsty city. So morally depraved was it, God sent even the most reluctant of prophets, Jonah, to declare a message of it's coming doom. Yet, this city did something incredible. Something we can all learn from!
