أحْلى جَزْمَة في العَالَم

يوم الخميس اللي فات رحت النادي اليوناني مع إتنين اصحابي. الراجِل اللي قاعِد بيِقْطَع التَّذاكر عالباب قال لي معلش ماينفعش تدخل بالصندل. لازم جزمة.

اتناقِشنا معاه لكن من غير نتيجة. فِضِل يقول ان دي قَوَاعِد أصحاب المكان وهو مالوش دعوة. أنا وأصحابي قعدنا ناخد وندِّي فالكلام شوية وفالآخِر قلت لأصْحابي خلاص ادخلوا من غيري. اصحابي مارضيُوش يدخلوا من غيري بس أنا صمِّمت.

الراجل بتاع التذاكر كان بيِتفرَّج علينا ولما لقانا هننفصل عن بعض صعبنا عليه وقال لي إني ممكن ألبس الكوتش بتاعه أدخل بيه بس بشَرط إني أخرج الساعة 12 علشان ده معاد مِرْوَاحُه. عَادةََ أنا مابحبِّش ألبس جَزمة حد وخصوصََا من غير شراب لكن في اللحظة دي حسيت إني سندريلّا وإني لابس أحسن جزمة في العالم.

• قَالْ لِي: told me (‘aal li)

• مَعْلِش: never mind / sorry (ma‘lesh)

• مَاينْفَعْش: not allowed / doesn’t work (mayenfa‘sh)

• تِدْخُل: enter (tedkhol)

• بِالصَّنْدَل: with sandals (bel-sandal)

• لَازِم: must (laazem)

• اِتْنَاقِشْنَا: we discussed (etna’a’shna)

• مَعَاه: with him (ma‘aah)

• لَكِن: but (laken)

• مِن غِير نَتِيجَة: to no avail (men gheer nateega)

• فِضِل: (he) kept (doing sth) (fedel)

• يِقُول: saying (ye’ool)

• قَوَاعِد: rules (‘awa’ed)

• أَصْحَاب المَكَان: the owners of the place (aSHaab el-makaan)

• هُوَ مَالُوش دَعْوَة: he has nothing to do (howa maloosh da‘wa)

• قَعَدْنَا نَاخُد وَنِدِّي: we went back and forth (talked a lot) (‘aadna naakhod weneddy)

• شْوَيَّة: a bit (shwayya)

• قُلْت: I said (‘olt)

• خَلَاص: that’s it / enough (khalaas)

• اِدْخُلُوا: you (plural) enter (edkhulu)

• مِن غِيرِي: without me (men gheeri)

• مَا رِضْيُوش: they didn’t agree (ma ridoosh)

• أَنَا صَمَّمْت: I insisted (ana samamt)

• إِنِّي مُمْكِن: that I can (enni momken)

• أَدْخُل بِيه: enter with it (adkhol bee)

• عَادَةً: usually (‘aadatan)

• مَا بَحِبِّش: I don’t like (ma baHebbesh)

• جَزْمَة حَدّ: someone’s shoe (gazmet Had)

• خُصُوصًا: especially (khosoosan)

• مِن غِير شَرَاب: without socks (men gheir sharab)

• فِي اللَّحْظَة دِي: at that moment (fil laHza di)
