After nine episodes, the Story Players have completed their trek through Mass Effect Andromeda! This final episode starts off by discussing one of their favorite side missions of the game. Then Josh gives his final romance update with Jaal. After that, the guys break down the last mission, Meridian: The Way Home.

With this being the final episode in the series, Josh and Joe spend some time discussing their overall thoughts on the game. Would they recommend others check it out? Would they replay it? How does it stack up against the other three titles in the Mass Effect universe?

This week the Story Players take on the penultimate priority ops mission and Jaal’s loyalty mission as they near the end of Mass Effect Andromeda. The primary mission is called The Journey to Meridian. They don’t find everything they’re looking for, but there is one shocking revelation about the angarans. Josh and Joe break down Jaal’s response, along with Suvi’s, to this new information.

Speaking of Jaal, the guys take off on his loyalty mission. It’s called Flesh and Blood, and it has them tracking down Akksul. As usual, there’s a short update on the romance situation too.

It’s been about two months since the first episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm debut, but this last week finally saw the release of the second episode. Josh and Joe were eagerly awaiting it after the first episode greatly exceeded their expectations. This episode, like every other episode of Story Players, goes deep into the game. That means that if you haven’t played it yet then this episode will completely spoil it for you. It took the guys about three and a half hours to complete. Go finish it, then come check out this episode.

After playing through the first episode of Before the Storm, Josh and Joe couldn’t wait to find out the identity of the woman in the white dress. What about the forest fire? How will that impact Arcadia Bay? What will the consequences be for Chloe and Rachel after skipping school, and most importantly, how will their relationship progress?

There’s also the business of the missing turian ark. Then they set off to see just what sort of trouble Vetra’s sister has found. Of course, the guys also have to keep us updated on their Mass Effect romance pursuits!

The Story Players are in space! Well, in this episode they’re talking about their experience with Tacoma, and it takes place on a space station. The second game from Fullbright has the main character aboard an abandoned space station. It uses an interesting augmented reality video playback system for telling the game’s missing crew’s story.

For this episode you’ll definitely want to play through the short game (about three hours) prior to listening. As usual, the guys will be completely spoiling the entire plot. Due to the way the plot unfolds, and the length of it, there isn’t a complete story recap.

They’ve activated vaults on Voeld and Havaral while exploring the planets and completing a few tasks. They also help Cora on her search for the Asari ark. They find clues about the Turian ark. The guys even found time for a quick game of poker with Gil.

The Story Players are taking a different path through the Helius Cluster this week. While the last two episodes focused on the first few Priority Ops missions, this time Josh and Joe adventure off on a few side quests. They’ll investigate the first murderer and look into what appears to be a classic case of sabotage aboard the Nexus. There’s also a secret project to check out on Eos, and an interesting encounter with the main character’s sibling.

At this point in the game Josh and Joe have met most of the primary characters. They’ll give an introduction to all the ship’s crew. This is a Mass Effect game, so that means that love is in the air! The guys discuss how they’ve found the new romance system and who they’re flirting with.

This week the Story Players continue their trek through Mass Effect Andromeda. This is the second episode in the series. If you haven’t listened to the first episode in the series you should check that out first. In the previous episode Josh and Joe focused mostly on the main quest, known as Priority Ops missions, and this time around they continue that path.
