I have been thinking about bringing our podcast back to life again for a while.

The fear of not being accepted can keep awesome things from happening at all. Rich and I read a favorite book and one we have never read at all. Thanks for joining us for episode 30!

In today's episode not only do I share two unique books, but also tell a bit about why reading children's books is so important to me.

Story Time with Gooseberry Auntie's was one of my many projects I needed to set down in order to focus on finishing my book. Now we are back!! My plan is to publish every Tuesday at 2:22pm. Reading books from this collection which was gifted from my mother in 1998!

This story is a little bit long for the daycare kids attention span so we had to read it in a couple of sittings.

Enjoy the sweet voice of my little daycare kids as Richard and I read some stories together.

Tomorrow Richard starts the second grade. It has been so much fun to work on this podcast together over the summer.

Little Home Bird tells the story of a young bird who doesn't want to leave home behind as he migrates with his family. Along the way he realizes that home is not where you are, but who you are with. And, of course, Richard reads Mo Williams in this episode as well.
