What happens if you sing out of tune? Can you colour outside of the lines and be ok with it? What if you don't get the perfect grade on a test? This week's episode features Petunia the Perfectionist written by Marissa Bader. Petunia thrives for perfection. Instead of having fun and being creative she is too hung up on getting it right each and every time. One day, in music class, Petunia unintentionally strikes a "different" cord. While she thinks she made a mistake, it turns out that she actually created a beautiful note. Listen in to the full story to hear how Petunia changes her tune - literally and figuratively. The book is available of AMAZON.

Hello and welcome! This week I'm reading Sally Mitts Finds a Home written by Shain Stodt. In the author's words:

"When Sally’s family moves away and she is left behind in the rush, she learns about the outside world for the first time, making friends with butterflies and squirrels in a wide, amazing world! Finding the tired little kitten asleep on their porch, a caring person takes her to an animal shelter.

Here Sally meets other street cats and is befriended by the spirited Charlie the Tailless. Things are so much better with a friend to snuggle with. But when Charlie is adopted, little Sally is lonely and shy around strangers, and everyone passes her by! Until a gentle man gives her the chance to open her heart and trust again. Will Sally trust her instincts?"
