European Tour 2011 returns this time in Paris, France. We visit Le Grande Mosquée de Paris and try baklava and mint tea for the first time ever! Naturally, as we can not do anything with out something going weird, this day trip to the Mosque ended up being really chaotic. And we all felt really stupid in the end. So it turned out to be good comedy! I literally can still see their faces!

Uh. Yeah. The title is weird because this was a weird day! In 2013 I had the opportunity to participate in the Kakehashi Project in Tokyo and Chiba, Japan. I got to experience a lot of cool cultural activities like traditional dance, museums, onsen, squatty potties and embarrassing myself in front of Kensaku Morita, the Governor of Chiba Prefecture and a famous actor/singer. I also recant the long and painful process of waiting. So trigger warning for anxiety, if you are sensitive about hearing people talk about anxiety and failure.

This episode is full of the warm fuzzies! I was feeling really happy and wanted to share some heart warming content with you this week! This week's adventure takes place at Disney World! It features a small child who thought I was Tinkerbelle and I became her best friend for about an hour and a half? And a story about two older ladies who ended up being from Wisconsin and were looking for a certain pair of flammable pajamas for a small child.

So it's Mother's Day today in the US (5/8/2022) and to celebrate the day and the chaos, I have three short stories dedicated to my mommy dearest!

If you aren't able to spend Mother's Day with them for whatever reason, reminisce on the good times and try to keep your heart light. And for those who might have bad blood with theirs, remember that sometimes the family we choose is more important and 10x better than the one we are given. It sucks, but it happens. In 2005 I studied in Japan for a year as an exchange student. I didn't speak any Japanese but I did watch a fair bit of TV. I found out that ADHD verbal stims are a thing and they can cause chaos when you randomly quote a commercial and it's the most Japanese you have spoken in five months. I also go on a three and a half hour deep dive into the internet to find out what the commercial actually was, who the singer was and WHY DID IT ALMOST KILL MY FRIEND?!

Listen as I misremember everything, badly explain things and find things funny that probably are not as funny as I think they are.

Daily Derps are shorts where I talk about something dumb that happened to me. In this derp, I'm alerted by my mom to save some baby Jumping Spiders from the mailbox turned out to be trickier than I had anticipated. And taking pictures of them? Near impossible!! But the mail lady just went up the street and the stakes are increased. Will I save the spoodlings? Will I actually get a decent picture of them to post on the internet? Will I get all of this done before the mail arrives?! Listen to find out!
