We're back with extensive coverage of the third episode of Star Trek: Picard, Season 1 Episode 3, titled The End is the Beginning. This episode was written by Michael Chabon & James Duff, and it was directed, for the third time in a row, by Hanelle M. Culpepper.
Fred from The Netherlands was kind enough to send us images for this episode, and we used many of them here!
We included a segment from our latest Patreon episode to give you a little taste since this segment covered something we hadn't talked about on the podcast yet. You can hear the full episode, which discusses the Star Trek: Picard Countdown comic and the first two episodes of Star Trek: Picard by going to https://www.patreon.com/brianandruthie and support us for as little as $1/month!
We have feedback for the premiere episode and S1E2 Maps and Legends. Discussion on The End is the Beginning begins at 29:50. We have used chapters again this week. If your podcast app supports them, it will allow you to skip ahead to the section you want easier.

That text wasn't there in the last episode. Fred pointed this out in a late addition to the podcast. Thanks Fred!
We see Commodore Oh visit Dr. Agnes Jurati, but we don't see what is said. Then, later, we see Jurati get a disruptor from... no knows where? This does bring suspicion to Jurati and her motives, but we do believe this is a red herring. What we couldn't get past was the VERY prominent ears of Oh's. They seem to REALLY stick out beyond what we saw last week's episode. See below.
So, that's it for this episode! For our next episode, we'll be discussing the fourth episode of Star Trek: Picard, titled Absolute Candor! Your feedback is SO important to us!!! Share your thoughts about the first, second, or next episode with us, and our listeners! And sign up to our Patreon to get access to the Patreon episode.
