We talk about spirit and following your intuition or your spiritual gps and how your life can change trajectory in a New York minute. Patricia Heitz is an amazing healer who is on a mission to normalize healing and she is doing just that. Here is who she is in her own words: I am a Reiki Master, a Teacher of Mindfulness, and an author of book "Daydreams Come True" a workbook that helps define what your belief system is and how you can change your belief to support what you want instead of self-sabotaging based on your unconscious beliefs. I have spent the last 18 years studying the mind, body connection, its relationship to disease and how and why we sabotage ourselves. After surviving kidney cancer, I felt there was more to learn about how we contribute to creating disease in our body. What I discovered is; it is always about what you believe about yourself, your world, and your value in the world. Most of us do not believe in who we authentically are. We believe we need to be a specific person based on what we need approval as. We go through life trying as hard as we can to be what we think we need to be to fit into the world. We struggle every single day, because we are trying to fit the proverbial round peg in the square hole and we think if we just work harder, we can make it work. It is always about lack of self - love.

However, when we discover who we are, our gifts, and what we authentically can contribute to the world as we really are, is when our true happiness and freedom begins! I am very good at posing questions that engage audiences in helping self-guide themselves to wellness. I also teach how to stay mindful at work and in everyday life whether it be taking a mindful breathing break, taking a walk-in nature with my "Mindful woods walking" exercise, listening to higher frequency music or journaling. It is my passion since I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2002 and have discovered my own self-sabotaging beliefs that contributed to my disease. Overcoming, and forgiving from a childhood of abuse, suicide attempt at 14 and the lingering effects of living as a child in a volatile alcoholic household has been a journey that has completely changed my life and I am drawn to help others find their healing and wellness.
