God is not the author of evil. God never, never makes evil happen. In your life or anybody else's life because God is good. And everything that comes from God is good.

God is always, always, always at work behind the scenes. You may not see it, but he’s there. You may not see his hand, but he’s orchestrating and moving things behind the scenes because God has not forgotten the dream he deposited in your heart.

Some of us, when we’re in the valley of disappointment we get caught up in self pity. And when you get caught up in self-pity, you don’t see any other needs around you. All you think about is yourself.

God has not abandoned you. Got has not forgotten you. God has a plan and a purpose because every purpose, every person who God has called to a destiny, he will fulfill the destinies in that person’s life if we continue to keep going back to God.

The natural tendency when we’re hurt or when things don’t go our way is to either quit or to become bitter. How many of you know that it’s a lot harder to stay and work things out than it is to leave?

Sometimes we are more comfortable with our old misery than with our new freedom. Sometimes we have been there for so long and have lived that way for so long that we have developed a knack for living that way. We’ve adjusted ourselves to that culture and have learned the setting.

Because God is God, never limit God by your little boxes and formulas. He’s not limited to our boxes and formulas but is an unlimited God that has all power and refuses to be limited.

Often our faith will be challenged by worsening circumstances. Many times things will appear to get worse before they get better.

Life is up and down. Sometimes in the middle of our trial and just about the time that we think we’re going to turn a corner, things get worse and not better. But here’s what I want you to know. In the midst of this, it hasn’t caught God by surprise
