In this episode I discuss something I am seeing a lot as a web designer. A sense of panic amongst providers that is making them allow clients to "drive" their rate boundaries.
In this podcast episode I discuss why that is so detrimental to your business structure and explain how it also confuses your client base.
Hello, it has been a long time since I podcasted. This is a very brief ( 15 min episode) But it is an important one. I hope you will take a listen. I wanted to discuss staying empowered to stay safe and to not forget to have a voice. You may be able to save the next companion from trouble. Each one Teach one!
I know I am so late doing this episode. I was originally planning on doing this episode when we were all in the thick of this story. But life got in the way. But I decided the lessons within the story were still important enough to discuss.
You should never become so dic*mitized that you mess up your big bag. I realize the young lady is a Porn Star and "hip hop artist" but when a relationship begins with "you are my fantasy girl and I want to take care of you" ... YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS.
Play the role,( if mentally strong enough to) and GET TO THE BAG SIS!
We gotta talk about it!
I also touch briefly at the end of the episode on WIX websites and SW.
Take a listen!
Hello from Storm.
Please take the time to listen with open heart and mind to the episode where I fully explain mental health issues, my own personal journey and ask the public to take mental illness of those around you seriously.
You never know what your clients and other sex workers may be dealing with so please use empathy and try to pay close attention to the signs.
Your clients and other sex workers may be going through something and this industry causes them to not be able to publicly be transparent so be kind to one another.
Hey there! It's me Storm back again. On todays episode which I hope you will listen to an enjoy, I talk briefly about my wedding and being married. But mainly I go back to those age old arguments about can you have real love and relationships in sex work and give my honest opinion of what it takes to sustain it, IF you want it. All relationships are work and the ones in sex work are even more complicated.
I also get into how you should not let the opinions of others (clients or others) change what you want in your LIFE. Remember your job is NOT your life. If it is then that is something you really need to examine as we all need to have grace and remember we are human first. Get to the bag without sacrificing yourself and your happiness.
Then we move on to the topic of all the transphobia, classism and body and persona shaming of "pick me please" Twitter!
Listen and learn, but most of all ENJOY!
I saw another lady on Twitter speaking on this debate I guess I have missed of how clients feel about being called....Clients.
I decided to offer my perspective on "words" "terms" and individual perceptions of them. In this industry we all have terms we either like or hate. Those terms change often as do places to advertise, new trends, life. Is the word client a bad term or do men simply hate it because it reminds them of the situation and the boundaries that come with it? Let's discuss.
Also need a website, marketing or assistant work? Hire me today visit takenbystorm.net
I recently came across some lies, foolery etc from a hater regarding my assistant service. One thing about me .. I am going to give it up honest, real and authentic. I keep receipts and my site clearly CLEARLY outlines all guidelines and terms and conditions prior to hiring me. I also always have a verbal conversation detailing it all as well. Therefore here should be no confusion. I blackmail no one, I simply stick my my very easily read terms and conditions.
I would never ever ever harm a sex worker. Some of you just do not care about being safe and would rather have an assistant who is more concerned with money than safety. I am not that assistant. I care about both but safety is first with me. With me if nothing else, you know I truly have your back.
Give this a listen. Hopefully it clears up any BS.
Hey guys it's me Storm. On this podcast episode I discuss important things you should have on your etiqette page. We also discuss getting rid of the mental health stigma in sex work and how ACTUALLY stopping sex work caused some of my mental illness and distress. We further discuss being prepared for retirement and the feelings you may not expect that will come with it.
I also in honor of our Trans community teach yall a little about the icon, the only Sylvester the Singer from the disco era.
Enjoy!
I have been away for a while, between work, wedding planning and just self care I had to get back to me to be able to give me the best version of getting back to you all. Please have a listen and I hope you will enjoy the episode
