The Word of the Lord tells us that God does not do anything except He tell His servant, the prophet first, Amos 3:7. Also we understand that the secrets of the Lord are them that reverence Him. God shares His covenant with that person, Psalms 25:14. So nothing is suppose to take us by sursprise. This is the approach as we briefly talk about "I Told You So".
