Strange Brew

The Brewers FINALLY reach the end of their 19 game stretch in 18 days. Ugly losses on Sunday and Monday after great wins on Friday and Saturday in Toronto. The lead in the division is 5.5 games. The lead over Philly for the 1 seed in the NL is 4.5 games. September is here: Go time. Micah Parson will wear Curly Lambeau's #1, practices on Monday and looks like he's going to play in Week 1. Good news on Billy Edwards Jr, and Thansis is back with the Bucks.

Brewers lose the series (and season series) but get bookend wins in the 5 game set at Wrigley. Went in with an 8 game lead, leave with a 7 game lead. Pretty good spot. Brewers take the series from the Cubs, couldn't get the sweep though. Season series tied at 4 with one series left at Wrigley in August. Trade deadline came.....trade deadline went.
