Strange Brew

Brewers SWEEP the Marlins to open the second half with a Wild Bill Walkoff on Sunday! Bad news on Woody who is having a second major shoulder surgery. Freddy Peralta back on the Am Fam Field mound tonight to take on Miz, could the Brewers just trade to get him back? Giannis had his introduction to the Miami media, and we remember the Bucks clinching the title 5 years ago today:

Brewer first half ends with a thud in Pittsburgh. Swept, Kyle Harrison hits the IL and Miz gets Sunday off with arm fatigue. Derby tonight, All Star game Tuesday and then a 9-game homestand to start the second half. Bucks are back on free TV! Channel 24 this upcoming season. They also sign Gary Trent to one of the worst contracts in franchise history:

Brewers take 4 out of 5 in St. Louis! Luis Lara makes his debut, Brandon Woodruff's injury update isn't great. One more series before the All Star break. Giannis posts his farewell video and an excellent interview with Jim Pashcke, Bucks trade for Caris Levert and bring back Pete Nance:

Brewers win a gritty series in Arizona despite poor starting pitching and bad hitting with runners in scoring position. HUGE effort from the bullpen. Bummer news on Woody who hits the IL again. Bucks Summer League gets underway, Malik Beasley under investigation for betting on games when he was in Milwaukee, and the World Cup tonight:

Brewers take three games from the Reds and go for the sweep today! Miz Vs. Burns, top shelf pitching matchup. Bucks sign Dieng to a 3-year deal, LeBron is leaving the Lakers, could he team up with Giannis back in Miami? And the Badgers have their new AD:

The Brewers are in a REALLY good spot at the halfway point (on pace for 100 wins), but an infuriating weekend with the Cubs at Am Fam over the weekend. Starting pitching was great, hitting was abysmal with runners on. In non-Giannis Bucks news, KPJ and Jericho Sims opt in, Gary Trent opts out:

LOTS of Giannis reaction on the email, we'll go through those. Brewers hang on for dear life to complete the sweep in Cincy on Wednesday, now a date with the Cubs at Am Fam for the first time since NLDS Game 5 last October. Miz day today:

The Giannis Era is over. 13 years in a blink! From a draft night lottery ticket in 2013, to an MVP and a champion. And honestly, might be the top reason a team is even still in Milwaukee. We'll break it all down, legacy, his chances in Miami, what the Bucks got back and what they did in the draft last night. A new era in Milwaukee.

Cooper Pratt week! Luis Rengifo DFA-ed to make room for the 21 year old shortstop. Brewers get a series win, and a MASSIVE series starts tonight in Atlanta with Miz on the mound. Quinn Priester's season is done. I thought we'd have more Giannis clarity at this point, and instead is it as clear as mud. Draft is next Tuesday.

We cashed tickets on the Knicks, Hurricanes (twice), and the Stanley Cup Finals going 6 or 7 games! The Miz put together one of the most dominant performances in MLB history on Friday, and the Brewers take a series from Philly. At long last, it feels like it's Giannis week. Resolution is on the way.
