In the season finale of Strange Matter, Cyprus finally learns more about the original murders, and what this information will cost him. Faced with a difficult path ahead he is forced to make a choice that will define Luna.

As the story continues to grow to a close, Cyprus is taken in for “pro-Cabal sentiments”, and the Strange Matter Studio is destroyed.

Pending his release, The Cabal continue to carefully gather information in his absence and turn to more extreme measures.

Cyprus makes contact with The Cabal, a neo-terrorist cell that operates on Luna and Earth. They provide him with the name of one of the victims relatives, and Cyprus gains new information. Disaster strikes in the form of a late night visit.

Cyprus tracks down a lead that brings him to a tattoo parlor on the far side of Luna. With new information, he is approached by a group who seeks to help him tell this story.

Cyprus gets down to telling us the vital information about the investigation so far, as well as day-to-day times they've attempted to gain access to the bodies. Miraculously, they finds a lead as the bodies are discarded.

This episode explains the role of Luna, and the situation on Earth. Cyprus describes the differences in Luna and Earth, as well as the preliminary information on the murders that are being covered up.

Despite the close relationship with Earth,  Luna maintains a semblance of their own  sovereignty. 

Because of this the exiles and forgotten of  Earth have turned what could have been a  true expansion into the unknown, into a  colony of crime. 

With no unified legal force, or reliable 
source of news, Cyprus takes it upon 
themselves to bring attention to the issues  that plague their moon, the largest of which  is the string of murders nobody seems to 
talk about.
