Episode 10 baby!!! What a milestone.
Today's stranger-turned-friend is Robel. He's kind and funny and overall, just a genuinely good guy. We talk about our childhoods growing up and our relationship with money and drugs (I'm from Singapore and he's from Ethiopia so the difference is pretty....ridonkulus). Oh, Robel also helped me discover the religious meaning of this podcast. Hint : Maybe I'm trying to find God in the people around me? I will entertain this thought.Â
Robel, if you're reading this, I'm honestly such a fan of your personality and I'm so grateful that we had this conversation together. I'm so happy that you started your own podcast and share your wonderful thoughts with the world. You're such a natural!!!Â

If aliens were to descend upon earth and needed to educate themselves about what it means to be alive, this episode would be required learning.Â
We were high on life in this one. No kidding, the amount of positivity and happy in this 1 hour 15 mins is overwhelming. I love it.Â
We talk about Marka's encounter with depression.  Good news, she's mentally in such a better place and I couldn't be happier for her. Then, we talked about Marka’s experience with drug use and how it changed her interpretation of the world for the better. We also talk about Marka’s horrendous memories of her two years of being a school teacher. That was pretty funny (sorry Marka...)
I hope you enjoy this episode. Please leave a nice rating and comment on iTunes. It'll mean the world to me.Â
This episode is really important, especially for anyone going through a rough time and struggling with mental health. Paul and I talk about his life as a dog owner, coping with death, his story with mental health and how he got help. This is a story about hope. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did making it.
Paul has his own podcast. It’s called Use Your Words. Please check it out and give him some love.Â

This episode takes you on a journey of what goes on in the mind of a 19 year old. We talk about what it’s like being an introvert, why Sarah has an obsession with Ancient Greece, and then we talked about talking with strangers and then we went down the existential rabbit hole of questioning our true selves and then we talked about why New York City is wonderful. AND THEN, we talked about Sarah's turning point and how she realized life is more than just getting good grades. This is a colorful episode guys.Â
Sarah has her own podcast. It’s called Don’t Be Lonely. I think you'll like her as much as I do.Â

In this episode, we take a peek into Mahika's perspective on life. If there's one thing to take away from this, it's the quote from Ferriss Bueller's Day Off: Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it. Mahika wants you to get off your gadgets and go experience life. She wants you to live your truths and stop living in fear (of the future or the past).
Please support and give her love on her poetry:Â

Today’s episode is a real treat. This recording is something I’ll revisit over and over again when I need a boost of inspiration or just need something to laugh about. My stranger-turned-friend is June Converse. We talk about growing up, our families, sharks, books, skydiving. We talk about June’s mental breakdown and her time in rehab. We talk about her fascinating writing process and how her characters talk to her. There’s highs and lows throughout which I personally think, make for the best kind of conversations.
June’s second book, Journey To Hope is due out in August 22!! Ya'll can find it in Amazon or DM her on instagram at converse.june for pre-orders!! For more interestingness that is June Converse, go to her blog : https://juneconverse.com. She spills her guts out there. It's wonderful.Â
Please enjoy, leave a (nice) rating/comment and go call a friend up and tell them you love them. K bye.Â
Santiago and I went on a bunch of tangents in this first episode.Â
