A brilliant story, delightfully told.

One of the best historical fictions I have read and I am an avid reader of the genre. A true delight as stories go and very well written. Kept my interest from beginning to end.

It was predictable and rather slow. It was just ok and later I would not read it again. It was easy to lay down.
