This week on Streamers with a Purpose, we're breaking down three of the gaming industry's biggest bombshells. Sony sparks a consumer catastrophe after announcing hundreds of purchased movies could disappear because of licensing issues, while doubling down on its push away from physical games. Is digital ownership becoming nothing more than a rental agreement?

Then, we dive into the shocking allegations that Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron may have been manipulating RAM prices, raising the question: have gamers and PC builders been paying inflated prices all along?

Finally, reports of the Steam Machine's mysterious Red Line of Death have the gaming community on edge. Is this the beginning of Valve's own hardware nightmare, or is the internet blowing a handful of isolated GPU failures out of proportion?

Join TMNT_Stearnzy and Fat2FlatPat as they separate the facts from the fear, unpack the week's biggest gaming headlines, and discuss what they really mean for gamers everywhere.

This week on the podcast, we dive into two huge topics. First, we explore the buzz surrounding a potential Lord of the Rings RPG—fans have dreamed of this for decades, and though it’s not officially announced yet, developers are working on it alongside a third Kingdom Come Deliverance game. Then, we break down Sony’s bold move to keep their single-player masterpieces locked to PlayStation, sidelining PC players. And we’re thrilled to welcome Julian, the solo developer behind Particulitix—a pixel art game that fuses the nostalgia of Galaga with the roguelike charm of Vampire Survivors. Julian shares his inspiration, the evolution of his pixel world, and what it means to bring a dream project to life. Don’t miss this inspiring journey!
