Hi friends! We are back with Episode 19 which feels CRAZY. We figured it was a good time to loop back around on the topic of our businesses. We are back with another recap episode of our second month living abroad! This one is a little messy and the audio isn't perfect (something must have gotten shifted in the process of moving) but we did our best to give you a solid recap of all our travel this last month. We also chat a bit more about our new apartment and things overall. We are back with an update episode (maybe this will be more common moving forward??) on life and how we are doing after 5 or so weeks in France! We have hit some highs and lows, we are balancing new things/schedules, and took our first trip here in the EU. We are still certainly in an adjustment period and are trying to be patient and give ourselves grace when it feels like a lot. You'll have to listen to learn more!

We have officially traveled across the world and are settling into our new home of Annecy, France! We had some complex travel to get here from the Pacific Northwest that includes the following checkpoints:

• Flying with both dogs in cabin on a commercial airline
• 48 hour stint in NYC
• Separate flights to Paris

The travel conversation is followed up with a recap of our first 10 days in France, how we are settling in, and some things we are looking forward to :)

Welcome to 2025 (aka the longest feeling year ever so far)! The first section of the episode we are recapping our January which Jake had off of work and was mostly a good time.

Following that up with our topic of the month, which is social media. A hefty topic with a lot to discuss as our feelings around it have changed quite a bit over the years. As 30 something millennials we grew up with social media having a large presence in our lives and have a lot to say about it. We talk about the "good old days", the effects it has had on our mental health, algorithms, pressures, and more. It's light-hearted in certain moments and heavier in others.
