This week Andrew and Ted sit down to discuss HBO / HBO Max's "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" starring Godzilla, King Kong, Kaylee Hottle, Rebecca Hall, and Dan Stevens. In the multi-terranean levels of the place known as Earth ... King Kong rules level one while Godzilla keeps peace and protects the upper crust level. Kong discovers a sub-subterranean level that is ruled by a dictator primate who controls an ice breathing dragon. Kong comes to the surface to recruit Godzilla to help him fight ... but, initially, there is a failure in communication between the two and they begin to fight ... once again. Once the dust settles and Kong gets Godzilla into the subterranean world of Earth there is a clarification and it's go time. This week Andrew and Ted jumped into a Delorean to refresh their minds about the 80's Classic Beverly Hills Cop before getting back into it and returning to 2024 and joining up with Foley (Eddie Murphy), Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), and Taggart (John Ashton) to sniff out and take out a bad apple within the Beverly Hills Police Department with a little help from new comers Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Jane Foley (Taylour Paige) in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.

In this episode Andrew and Ted watched Andrew McCarthy's self produced and self directed documentary about being labeled by journalist David Blum in an article as being part of what he coined "Hollywood's Brat Pack". A group of young Hollywood actors that frequently hung out together and often co-starred with that primarily consisted of Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Alley Sheedy, Anthony Michael Hall, and of course Andrew McCarthy.

This week Andrew and Ted took a look at Jennifer Lopez's latest Netflix release "ATLAS". Billed as a Action / Sci-Fi, however with the modern day advances with AI it's more of a futuristic drama or as Andrew coined it a ... Sci-NonFiction. The plot behind "ATLAS" is that Jennifer Lopez's character, Atlas Shepherd, is the daughter of one of the world's leading AI bot / humanoid developer and during the course of her career she developed and built an AI humanoid she named Harland. Harland one day decides that humans are on a path of self destruction and leaves earth to develop his own army to put humans on earth out of their misery. Knowing Harlan's plan the government recruits Atlas to assist in the retrieval of Harland's AI chip.

This week Andrew & Ted watched the Netflix original "Mother of the Bride", starring Brook Shields (Lana / Mother of the Bride), Benjamin Bratt (Will / Groom's Father), Miranda Cosgrove (Emma/Bride), and Sean Teale (RJ / Groom). Emma travels home to let her mother know she is engaged and is getting married ... soon! It comes as a shock to her mother considering she didn't even know her daughter was dating. The twists and turns don't end there. It turns out the groom's father just happens to be the same guy that broke Lana's heart back in college. Of course this all comes to light not only under the pressure of the wedding itself ... throw in the fact that wedding is not only taking place thousands of miles away from the United States in Thailand but couple that with element that Emma is a social media influencer and the wedding has become marketing campaign for her biggest sponsor Discovery Resorts. The only answer you really need at this point is ... what did Andrew and Ted think about it?

Yet it goes on by having appearances by Christian Slater, James Marsden, Maria Bakalova, Bill Burr, Andy Daly, Rachael Harris, Kyle Dunnigan, Felix Solis, Thomas Lennon, Dan Levy, Jack McBrayer, Peter Dinklage, Jon Hamm, Dean Norris, Mikey Day, John Slattery, Bobby Moynihan, Sarah Burns, Beck Bennett, Cedric the Entertainer, Fred Armisen, Sebastian Maniscalco, Kyle Mooney, Tony Hale, and the list goes on and on. This week Andrew and Ted sit down to discuss their thoughts about Prime Video / TV's original adaptation of the very popular (amongst the kids) video game of the same name. The series stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Clifton Moten. "Fallout" is a nuclear bomb post-apocalyptic 8 episode series about three separate surviving groups as they deal with survival in their new world that just happens to be 200 years post decimation.

This week Andrew and Ted reached into the vault, back to 2011, and watched "Super 8" on Prime TV/Video. This J.J. Abrams written and directed film stars a then 13 year old Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney (15 years old at the time), Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, and Kyle Chandler in this Amblin Entertainment Sci-Fi / Thriller / Romance motion picture. This is a revisit for Ted while Andrew is a first time viewer. Tune in to see what they thought.
