On August 26, 2016, General Overseer Oscar Pimentel delivered his annual address to the Church.

As Christians, we are to strive for God's will in our lives including holiness and perfection.

The ministry is called to do the work of God. It is essential that we do not allow ourselves to become sidetracked by the affairs of life which cripple our service for God.

If there's anything the world needs today, it is a reverent fear of God to fulfill His perfect will.

If we say that we are markers and representatives of the light to the world, then we have no room for darkness in our lives.

One's quest to enter into the

presence of the Lord will bring him face

on with the two questions and the

resultant answers given in Psalms 24:3, 4. Adam, in his

creative perfection, walked and fellowshipped with God, but when sin replaced his perfection he hid himself from God. Sin still keeps us from full fellowship with the Lord. That is why Paul admonished the Church to "lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us" (Hebrews. 12:1).

Everyone in the Church today has had some type of journey to get to and be part of the Body of Christ. Whether you were part of this work from the reorganization or, as many others have, come along later, we all have a place in God's program and will enjoy the same reward.

Theocracy is God's government. For theocracy to properly operate in the Church and in our lives, we must be fully submitted to Him.

Any knowledge we may have is not our own; it has been given to us by God in Heaven. It is excellent simply because it belongs to God. It transcends even the most advanced human thinking.

Prayer is an essential part of a Christian's life. It is the source of personal, direct communication with God. In order to receive all that God has for us, He expects us to travail in prayer.
