Street Art Collector

On Totemo's Street Art Collector this week, Steph sits down with Swedish-born, Toyko-based artist and teacher Kristoffer "Krs" Kullengren, who began his painting path in the digital realm before spreading his colourful, playful style into the physical world as well.

Since 2008, Kris has built up a massive career. He has had more than 20 solo exhibitions in the last 5 years and sold more than 5000 digital artworks on the blockchain. He was the first artist to exhibit NFTs in Tokyo, the first foreign artist to work with the Chinese government's blockchain "Conflux", and he conceived and executed the first NFT project in El Salvador to use NFTs to create coffee futures, supporting the crypto-run country to circumvent the banking system to sell future coffee supplies.

On Totemo's Street Art Collector this week, Steph sits down with Dublin-based multi-disciplinary artist EOIN, who's been painting professionally for 17 years and is today recognisable for his murals all around the world, with his unique twisting style.

Always pushing artistic boundaries, he brought his creations to life in three dimensions with VR and continually explores the possibilities of the blockchain. Most recently, the concept of fully on-chain art has caught his interest, and he has made his mark as the first artist to release fully on-chain photographs.

Tyler has been painting since the 90s. He's on the board of directors for Ottawa's annual Hip Hop Festival, House of Paint, he's made his own beer label, and he's basically just doing all sorts of cool, innovative things to bring some colour to the world.

Welcome to our Art NFT Insights series, diving deep into Tezos with artist BreezBlox who has been on the chain from its early days, not only creating and minting work but also participating in the community and its development.

If you've been listening to this series, you'll notice a theme about how the community drives the growth and environment on that chain.

In this episode, BreezBlox and I discuss the roles of delegating, baking, voting, and other ways the Tezos community participates in the growth of the ecosystem.

On Totemo's Street Art Collector this week, Steph sits down with Frenemy, a graffiti and street artist, illustrator, tattoo artist, author, and world creator who has been painting street art and graffiti for more than 20 years.

Frenemy creates trippy intricate characters and designs on the streets and the blockchain, each with backstories, part of a large world that is applied to his walls and brought to life in his latest game with Sandbox, Imaginarium.

Welcome to our Art NFT Insights series, diving deep into Tezos with artist BreezBlox who has been on the chain from its early days, not only creating and minting work but also participating in the community and its development.

Given its insane popularity for artists, I wanted to know what capabilities Tezos has.

In this episode, BreezBlox and I discuss smart contracts, the benefits of Tezos vs other platforms and how this chain is designed to evolve, upgrade and improve.

In this episode, we sit down with Kyle Confehr, a multi-disciplinary artist and creator who's been making art in his spare time forever and full-time since 2019. Although Kyle considers himself a muralist rather than a street artist, he's been able to build his career around his unique doodle style, present in his work across mediums, from walls to NFTs.

Deeply immersed in the NFT community, Kyle has investigated most blockchains and kept a healthy BS reader to navigate what's what. Here we talk about his projects, his thoughts on the different blockchains, his gratitude for the Ghost Club community and his advice for artists trying to enter the NFT space.

Welcome to our Art NFT Insights series, diving deep into Tezos with artist BreezBlox who has been on the chain from its early days, not only creating and minting work but also participating in the community and its development.

Tezos is one blockchain that artists specifically - verse say PFP NFT people - mention over and over again. And I wanted to find out WHY.

In this episode, BreezBlox and I cover exactly that topic: why so many artists are attracted to this blockchain above the others.
