We look at Matthew 22 and what Jesus taught about the separation of church and state. It's not what you think.

Today we are reading the parable of the wedding feast, with an emphasis on the poor sap who got thrown out! What about us? Are we the baddies?

Bible lessons from this weekend include, "Making Tyrants Tremble," "Fearless Faith," and "It's Not Your Vineyard." I also talk about making new friends in the neighborhood.

Jesus tells his disciples the exciting news that he is going to be tortured and killed. But that doesn't keep them from fussing over who's most important. It is important that we focus on things above. After all that's where we're going to live someday.

Sometimes, what seems unfair to us is exactly the right thing to do. This is especially true if God is doing it. We must submit ourselves to what is best according to his will.

Reminding people of my mission: encouraging regular lay people in the church to be Christ's ambassadors in public. We must learn to speak up instead of waiting for the"professionals" to do it for us. I will be aiming to do a daily podcast to better encourage you to be faithful. In this episode I also talk about Matt Walsh's documentary, "What Is A Woman." It is the very template for provocative signage.

Why I've been missing, but what I am doing.

I talk about Rod Dreher's book, Live Not By Lies, and being willing to suffer in the near future.

I will have to postpone the live Zoom Bible study until May, but we can talk about the subject matter NOW. In the first half of this episode I will talk about the foreign film, The Lives of Others. It's a moving story of how a secret police spy becomes sympathetic to his subjects and starts covering for them. The second half is about your mission to the Promised Land.

Soon I am going to be having a zoom Bible study called the long game. It's about not letting things sneak up on us. Is time to do the important things before they become urgent. In case you hadn't noticed right now things are getting pretty urgent. But we can prepare for the future.
