This is Vanessa's story. She is married to David who we met in an earlier episode.

Tina works with RealOptions and Street Life Ministries to help women on the streets get the help they need. Tina's life experiences inspired her to help others.

30 year old Gino was once addicted to drugs. He tried many times to get sober but his addiction had too strong a hold on him. Gino got involved with CityTeam, was able to get the help he needed to conquer his addiction, and is now clean from drugs. Today, Gino is employed by CityTeam and is devoting his time and energy to helping others.

A young man once lost to drugs and the streets now redeemed by God and serving the Lord with a heart filled with joy. David was raised with a ton of anger in his heart and fell victim to the streets. David had many brushes with the law and ended up in prison for 10 1/2 years. David reached out to the Lord and has been filled with the Joy of the Lord and is now a new man, married and raising a young boy with his wife seeing God every day. David still battled depression and PTSD from jail but gives it all to the Lord. Please pray for him.

After struggling with addiction for 10 years, Ricky surrendered his life to God and everything changed. Now he has 18 years clean and sober and is the Spiritual Director of our NEW Rehab Program that is being developed, called: “Homeless to Healthy.”

Kevin is in charge of security at Street Life, and he has an amazing story. He used to be homeless, violent, and addicted to drugs. But that past is gone, and Kev has become a loving person who gives the best hugs and has dedicated his life to serving his neighbors on the streets. Today Pastor Dave sat down with Kev to get an update on his life and what’s been happening at Street Life Ministries.

After 20 years of living on the Streets, using methamphetamine, and selling methamphetamine Tom Schramm is clean in sober. In fact, he has 5 years clean and sober. His story is pretty mind blowing and it all comes down to him surrendering his life to God.

Tom oversees men’s outreach at Street Life, and he recently got married to a beautiful soul named Suzie. Tom told me: “it’s never too late for love”.
