Courtney Kendal (nee Valerious) is a perennial national weightlifter, owner and coach at Dog House CrossFit in Chicago, a mom, and a former D1 athlete. Having been a lifter before the big resurgence in American weightlifting, and now a coach + CrossFit owner contributing to it, she has some incredible insight into the sport, the mindset of a great athlete, and how simple (but not easy) it is to make continual progress. For any athlete struggling mentally, or any frustrated coach, this is a fantastic listen as Courtney and Tom share advice, encouragement and a little bit of that no-nonsense Chicago sensibility.
