Happy Anniversary Jen!

When life throws us curveballs, it doesn't matter what are plans are.  The sooner we can refocus on what's important now, and identify what needs to be done, the sooner we can move through the pain of the life event and end the suffering.

Finding Time for what's important requires discipline and intention.  Baking bread helps me know that I can find time for what's important.  It is possible to prioritize what's important no matter how busy the day may seem.

8 minutes and 34 seconds is 1 percent of our waking day.  We all have things we say we don't have time for. Let's utilize that 1 percent of our day to stack and compound progress on self care and self improvement.

I figure that there are 100 waking hours.  While that seems like a lot of hours, we have to be intentional with our time.  We have to be Time Warriors and fight for time to do what's important and to prune away the non important things.

There is always going to be pain as part of life. When we accept and move towards the pain, we avoid the suffering.

Just as our plants flourishing in our garden,  Sometimes what looks like healthy growth needs to be pruned to allow for blossoming and bearing fruit.

Perfection assumes we can reach a point where work is no longer required, but that isn't going to happen.  We will always be perfecting. On a continual journey of improvement.

When we inevitably make mistakes and miss our mark, we don't need to shame ourselves. We learn from it.  There is no perfect human. We all make mistakes.  Playfully framing a mistake as "oops, I was so close to being the first perfect human" is a fun way to remember there is no shame in a mistake and thinking we can achieve perfection is ridiculous.
