It seems only fitting that now the (first?) season of Stampede is done, that this gets reviewed as well. What started as a sort of stiff, belabored reimagining turned into a unique, personal, actioned packed change of pace. Gone is the comedy of the first show's first half. In its place is a heavier emphasis on Vash and Knives as characters, plus some amazing fight and action setpieces only Orange's 3DCG can do. Nothing can replace the OG version. That said, this is a damn good attempt at trying something different.
