One of our favorite shows to record is back with its third installment. A series all about the lesser brewed but equally amazing beer styles. We dig into the history and discuss recipe formation. Then, we'll drink some home brewed examples and a few commercial examples - and tell you who did it well and who didn't.

The Doc joins the show to judge a classic and favorite style of the show, Oatmeal Stout. 

Tim, Switzer, Marco and Phil walk through many of the base malt options out there and talk through some tips and tricks for picking the right one to maximize flavor for your brew. 

Marco and Phil are back in the secret lair of Amongst the Whiskey. From the famed Whiskey Study and with their Host, Nick, they have an epic tasting of barrel aged beers. 

Marco and Phil travelled to a double secret location in central MA to visit the famous Whiskey Study at Amongst the Whiskey. 

They sip on a few drams and chat with founder Nick Anderson about his collection, how he got started and the best way to jump into the intimidating world of Bourbons, Ryes, Irish, Scotch, Japanese... everything Whiskey.
