Today’s episode tells the story of all the deep, terrible trouble I got into as a teenager for having sex, and the repercussions and scars that would follow me for the rest of my life. I talk about my adolescent experiences with sex, the unfair double standards imposed upon girls, and how my young life and that of so many other young women were stained with shame, while the boys are either congratulated or made out to be the victim in this world of sexual double standards.  

This episode is about the truly life-and-death impact this had on my life, and how a single act of kindness made me feel human again.
